Dr. Aiden Costello, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Aiden Costello grew up on a small cattle ranch in Fort Jones, California. He holds a BS in Biology/Zoology from Humboldt State University and received his DVM with high honors in 2009 at Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies.  He practiced for 3 years at a small animal clinic in Denver, Colorado before finally coming back home to the “State of Jefferson.”  During this time he developed an abundance of experience in orthopedic and non-routine surgery, providing training for visiting vets from numerous countries.  In 2015 Aiden purchased the “a” street animal clinic, and is happy to have found an environment where he can develop lasting relationships with his patients and clients.

Dr. Jessica Voellm, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Voellm joined “a” street animal clinic in 2017. Originally from New Jersey, she also attended Ross University, graduating in 2009 with honors. Jessica worked at a feline exclusive practice prior to relocating to the Rogue Valley, and has also worked closely with animal shelters throughout her career. She has a special interest in geriatric feline medicine and preventative medicine. Jessica and Aiden live with their shelter mutt Shelby, and their two cats, Augustus and Neville (aka Bonzo).

Amy

Veterinary Assistant

Amy was born and raised in Medford, Oregon, and has many years of experience from her long-standing history working with animals. She began working in animal medicine back in 2000 at a clinic in Medford. She joined “a” street animal clinic at the beginning of 2012. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Jasmine

Veterinary Receptionist 

Jasmine began volunteering at wildlife hospitals in 2001 before becoming a Veterinary Assistant in 2008. She currently resides in Ashland, Oregon with her 6-year-old rescue kitty Ella. When Jasmine is not working with animals she can be found dancing Flamenco and sewing costumes.

Taylor

Veterinary Assistant

Taylor is originally from Medford, Oregon, and came to Ashland for continued schooling and collegiate sports. She graduated from Southern Oregon University in June of 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She started working at A Street soon after graduating to expand her knowledge and experience in the field of veterinary medicine. She has grown up always having animals in her life and has created a passion for giving them the best chance at life. Her favorite thing about working with animals is the applied science and chemistry behind medicine and treatment. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys hiking with her dog Cooper or enjoying a good book cuddled up with her cat Noodle.

Stephanie

Veterinary Assistant

Stephanie was born and raised in San Francisco. She started working in the Veterinary field 5 years ago out of high school. She started working for A street 2 years ago and is currently enrolled in school to become a certified veterinary technician. She enjoys spending her time outside of work traveling with her fiancé and going to sporting events or cuddled up with a good book with her two cats Goose and Peter.
